CILICIA. Isaura. Caracalla, 198-217. Diassarion (Bronze, 25 mm, 9.56 g, 6 h), 205-209. AY K M AY ANTΩNINO[C] Laureate and cuirassed bust of Caracalla to right, breastplate decorated with gorgoneion. Rev. MHTPOΠOΛЄΩC ICAYP/ΩN Caracalla, laureate and on the left, standing right in military attire, holding long scepter in his left hand and receiving a tablet from Apollo, on the right, standing left, nude, holding laurel branch in his left hand; between them, an animal reclining right, head to left, holding branch (?) in mouth; in exergue, altar. SNG Paris 494 (same obverse die). SNG von Aulock 5410-1 var. (differing arrangement of reverse legend). Light scratches on the obverse and with minor roughness on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
